This is your moment to design the year ahead — not in that rushed, checkbox way where you list out a hundred goals and hope for the best…

This is about designing your schedule, lifestyle, and business with intention and confidence, knowing that the tone you set now can shape everything.

So grab a cup of coffee and let’s dive in.

Start With The Feeling You Want To Create

Forget goals for a moment — start with your why.

What’s the energy you want to carry into 2025?

Spaciousness? Fulfillment? Devotion? Ease? A sense of power and alignment?

To ground yourself, write down 3-5 words that capture the essence of how you want this year to feel. Use these words as a lens to evaluate every decision, from the way you design your workdays to the traditions you want to build with your family.

These aren’t just words. They’re a filter.

They’ll help you say yes to the right things and no to the distractions that pull you off course.

Clarify What Matters Most

As someone who’s already juggling a lot, you don’t need another generic list of resolutions. Instead, let’s refine:

What brought you the most joy this past year?
Think about the moments that made you pause, breathe deeply, and say, “This is it.” Those are your signposts.

What drained your energy?
Look at the things you said yes to that didn’t feel aligned. What do you need to say no to in 2025?

Where do you want to be one year from now?
Not just in terms of accomplishments, but in how you feel, the memories you’ve created, and the balance you’ve cultivated.

This clarity is the foundation for every decision you make moving forward.

The Architecture of Your Ideal Year

Now, let’s move from reflection to action.

Define Your Non-Negotiables

What moments or experiences are non-negotiable for you this year?

Block these into your calendar first. Whether it’s family dinners, weekly date nights, or a personal retreat every quarter, protect these with the same level of priority as your biggest business meetings.

Redesign Your Work Rhythms

What’s one shift you can make in your workday to create more alignment?

For example, could you restructure your schedule to eliminate unnecessary meetings? Delegate tasks that drain you? Batch your work into focused blocks so you’re not constantly switching gears?

Build Legacy Traditions

What traditions do you want to build and prioritize with your family this year?

Maybe it’s Sunday pancake breakfasts, an annual holiday trip, or teaching your kids about something that matters deeply to you. These are the moments that create your family’s story.

Anchor in Rest

Rest isn’t a luxury; it’s a strategy. Schedule intentional time to recharge—whether that’s daily walks, journaling, or quarterly time away.

Think of rest as the fuel that powers everything else you do.

So now I want you to take 10 minutes to visualize your ideal day in 2025. Go beyond the surface and really feel it to bring it fully into your reality:

🥐 Morning: What does the start of your day look and feel like? Who’s there? How do you take care of yourself before diving in? What are the sounds, smells, sights around you?

🖥️ Work Time: How do you structure your work day? What are you holding? What does your calendar look like? Who is helping you? What are you pouring your creative energy into?

🤍 Family Time: How are you connecting with your kids? What traditions or rituals fill your days? What are your non-negotiables with them? How do you feel as a mama?

🌙 Evening: How do you wind down? What’s the energy you carry into the end of the day? How do you nourish yourself? What’s the tone in your home?

Write down everything you see, feel, taste, smell, and envision. Go deep. This isn’t just a vision — it’s your roadmap.

The fastest way to connect with your vision isn’t through overthinking — it’s through your body.

When you drop out of your head and into movement, you activate the energy and feeling of what you want to create, making your vision feel real and attainable.

Here’s a really powerful practice to take you there quickly:

  1. Shake it Out (1-2 Minutes):

    • Stand with feet firmly planted. Shake your arms, legs, and torso loosely—bounce, wiggle, or sway however feels good.

    • Imagine stress leaving your body with every movement.

  2. Twist and Swing (30 Seconds):

    • Slow the shaking and gently twist your torso side to side, letting your arms swing freely. Feel your spine lengthen and release tension.

  3. Soothe with Touch (1 Minute):

    • Place your hands on your chest and belly. Take 3 deep breaths, applying light pressure. Feel your body soften and settle.

  4. Anchor in Gratitude (30 Seconds):

    • Name one thing you’re grateful for right now—something small, simple, and grounding.

This practice helps your body release stress while reconnecting with calm, grounded energy. A perfect reset for busy days.

“F*** New Year’s Resolutions…”

“I used to love the start of a new year - the chance to set big goals, make shiny vision boards, and map out plans to make this year “bigger” and “better” than the last.

But somewhere along the way, that excitement turned into pressure. The kind of pressure that whispers, “What if this year doesn’t top last year? What if I don’t hit my goals? What if I slow down and everything I’ve built starts to slip away?”

That mindset robbed me of something important: the ability to be present. I was so focused on what’s next that I couldn’t fully enjoy what I’d already created - the wins, the memories, the life I’d worked so hard to build.

So, this year, I’m doing it differently. I’m not trying to make 2025 “bigger.” I’m making it deeper. I’m leaning into the experiences that matter, the moments I want to remember, and the energy that feels aligned.”
